The Arabic mega quiz competition organized by the Department of Arabic, Wadihuda Womens Academe for the female college students on today.

In the closing ceremony, the Vice chairman of Taaleemul Islam Trust and Managing Director of Wadihuda Group of Institutions SAP Abdussalam honored Quiz master NP Salahudeen, the Assistant Professor, Department of Arabic, University of Calicut and distributed the first prize of Rs 5000, Memento and Certificate to  Bishneen Hudha KC  and  Shahma KP  of  Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College, Farook, Calicut , second prize of  Rs  3000, Memento and Certificate to Alsafa B and Adira TTV of Sir Sayyid College, Taliparamb, Kannur  and third prize of Rs 2000 to  Rashida MA and Nihma Fathima of MTM Wafiya College Olavilam ,Kannur. Other 10 final round participants were also honored with mementos and certificates. Officials from participating colleges and representatives of the organizing committees attended the closing ceremony as guests.

By this edutainment program, the organizers aimed at educating the students of the colleges the history, heritage and traditions of Arabic language literature and Arabic language in Kerala.

About 40  students in total from Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College, Farook, Calicut, Sir Sayyid College, Taliparamb, Kannur, MTM Wafiya College Olavilam ,Kannur , Wadihuda Womens Academe,Muttam ,Kannur, Al Falah Womens College, Peringadi,Kannur,  Ideal Arts and Science College, Kuttiyadi,Calicut, Ideal Arabic College, Uliyil,Kannur, N.A.M. College, Kallikkandy, Kannur, and Islahiya College, Chennamangalure, Calicut  took part in the Arabic Mega Quiz competition.
