*KANNUR MUSLIM HERITAGE ; A HISTORIC VISIT BY ARABIC DEPARTMENT OF WADIHUDA WOMEN'S ACADEMe*

27- January- 2024

A marvellous journey to the Kannur Muslim Heritage was organised by *The students of Arabic Department accompanied by Students of Hifdhul Quran*.
The session commenced with the inspiring words of *Osama Husain , lecturer in the Department of Arabic*, signifying the relevance and importance of exploring such monuments and history.
The students visited  *Saint Angelo Fort and Arakkal Museum*.
*Muhammed Shihad * clearly elucidated the historical glimpses of ultimate legends in this small land throughout the visit.
It's out of the question; the guidance of Muhammad Shihad  inspired enthusiastic and curious students who were eager to embrace and grasp historical reality.
As the students of a generation with exaggerated or fabricated stories of ancient kings and legends, rather than just adventurous, it'struly crucial to meet such a historian.
The goosebump-inducing battles, rebellions, and resistance of those warriors, sultans, and even the Muslim ladies during that period were revolutionary and commendable.
Here, the students of Wadihuda Women's Academe unearthed the forgotten history of Kannur Muslim heritage. Hereby a small part of Kannur Muslim Heritage is written in the pages of our diary.
The session was concluded with words of gratitude from *Khadeeja Teacher, Head of the Arabic Department*.
